Ephesians 4:2-6 says, “Be completely humble and gentle,
be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort
to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of
peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were
called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one
faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over
all and through all and in all.”

I thank God that in our church we are conducting ourselves
with humility, gentleness, and patience. We accept each
other with love. The church is often compared to a body
which has many parts. We work together in unity. We are
one body serving with one Spirit. We have one hope. There
is one Lord, one faith, one baptism. We see the transcendence
and the immanence of God working in, through, and all
around us. When we work together, Jesus says we are the
church. We are better together.
