I love the story of Moses. In Exodus 16 we see the people of
Israel complaining to Moses and Aaron. Verse 3 states, “If
only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt! There we sat
around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but
you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire
assembly to death.” God hears their grumbling and he
shows grace to the Israelites and he sends them “bread
from heaven” in the morning and quail in the evening to
satisfy their hunger.

God gave them instructions to gather only what they needed
for that day and he would supply them with food the next
day. God wanted the Israelites to trust Him and His promises.
I believe God wants us to trust Him and His promises
even today!

Can I ask you a question? Are you trusting God for the
grace you need for today? Just as God instructed the Israelites
to gather only what they needed for that day and trust
that He would provide for them tomorrow. Jesus promises
us that he will provide the grace we need for today if we
trust Him and He also promises that He will provide the
grace we need for tomorrow. I encourage you to put your
trust in Jesus and accept His grace.

Trusting Jesus,
