Something that God has been speaking to me about lately is perseverance. James 1:2-3 tell us, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” It is easy for us to give in to discouragement when things do not seem to go the way we would want or expect. We must remember that it is our job to be faithful to our calling and to what God is asking us to do. Part of this responsibility is to stay in the Word and prayer, while being sensitive to His leading in our daily lives. We may never know the impact we are having for the Kingdom of God! We need to continually focus on being the hands and feet of Jesus to those around us. We must keep persevering even if we do not see immediate results!

On Saturday we had our first Hope Community Church Community Picnic. What a great time we had connecting with many people who are not a part of our church. As we continue to reach out and love on our community with the love of Jesus, I am so excited to see how God is going to continue to use Hope Community to grow the Kingdom here in Green Bay. I urge you to pray with your pastors for our community and continued ways to connect with those around us. We must continue to persevere, as we know that the harvest is plentiful and that we may never know the impact we have on others.

In Christ,

Pastor Todd
