The advent of the New Year is a great time to reflect on the year that has passed. The new year affords an opportunity to appreciate all the good things that we have experienced in 2023 and reflect on what we might have done differently with the benefit of hindsight, which is always 20/20. I think you would agree with me, however, that 2023 has been a difficult year that has been different for all of us. Some have experienced good times and some have experienced not so good times. No matter what, however, we know that we serve a God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What a better time to reflect on this truth than as we enter a new year.

As we face the uncertainty of what will come in 2024, I want to encourage you with the word found in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength..” NIV. The move of God in our lives increases our capacity to grow in all aspects of our lives. There is no mountain too high, no valley too deep and wide, no circumstance that we cannot conquer or traverse. Our God is bigger than our circumstance! The experiences of past years have equipped us and better equipped us to serve God’s Kingdom in even greater ways. In 2024, please consider covenanting with God to make a greater impact for God’s Kingdom in whatever way God may lead. Let this be a year that we can point back to how God not only transformed us, but used us to further God’s Kingdom. I pray for each one of you a Happy and Blessed 2024 as we serve the Lord together.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
